This week, players devoted to charity are being featured on the NBC series “Poker After Dark.” Named “Charity in Mind,” the six-man SNG’s opening session on Monday included a lot of Titan Poker Bonus discussion focused on fundraising. The table was loaded with 10 World Series of Poker bracelets and every player was given 20,000 in chips.
Full Tilt Poker pro Howard Lederer was the first victim of the week. Jennifer Harman raised to 500 prior to the flop with A-4 of spades and Lederer 3bet to 1,800 with A-K, counting the king of clubs, Titan Poker Review. Previous MIT Blackjack Team member Andy Bloch managed 5,600 with pocket kings and Harman got out of the way.
“Charity in Mind” is the final new “Poker After Dark” week of 2010. Leeann Tweeden was appointed as the host of the poker franchise, while Ali Nejad provides commentary. In the coming year, John Juanda, Huck Seed, Tom Dwan, Erick Lindgren, Phil Galfond and Phil Ivey will take part in a week-long $100,000 SNG starting on January 3rd.
